Thanks for your reply. As usual i only get round to checking this site every so often.
Coogee beach was my `home` beach and we became very proud of it. I spent a lot of my time there. Maybe you know some of the people I knew while in Coogee. Abbo , Hugh Blair, Kit Kitchen, Dave , Tom, Pete, Ian were some of the early boys I met. I also played football for Bondi Marine where I met people like Roy Palmer, Ian Lang and many others. We would nearly always have a party at somebody`s flat on saturdays after the game and maybe you went along.After I left 4 Wood st I lived at 19 Cowper St , 7 Cowper St and some flat in Randburg where my flat mates were Frankie Lloyd ( a little boxer from Liverpool) Roger Tribble, Billy May, Paul Hicks and a Barry ?. We must have crossed paths in Coogee many times so maybe we have mutual friends . Are you in contact with anybody else from around that time and place?. I take it you have stayed in Australia all these years. Once I left to go back to England and then came here to South Africa I lost my residence status which was a pity as I really enjoyed Australia and had 5 good years there. I have two of my Children living there and 2 grandchildren so I do visit when I can .
